The corporate team at national law firm Foot Anstey, which has an office in Bristol, has advised on the majority sale of global game developer Push Gaming on its to mobile gaming group LeoVegas.
Founded in 2010 by Winston Lee and James Marshall, London-based Push Gaming is one of the industry’s leading developers of digital games, supplying high-quality gaming content such as Razor Shark, Wild Swarm and Big Bamboo to players around the world.
As part of the sale to LeoVegas Group, Push Games’ management team and 100-plus employees, who are based in the UK, Malta and Ukraine, will continue to develop high-quality games distributed via the company’s platform and remote gaming server (RGS).
Co-founders Winston Lee and James Marshall will remain as COO and CEO respectively, with the firm operating as an independent entity.
Foot Anstey advised Push Games’ shareholders in the complex sale to Swedish group LeoVegas, which is part of the MGM Resorts International group.
The Foot Anstey team was led by partner Adam McKenna, pictured, with support from partner Anna Parker, senior associates Emma Clayton and Jos Style, associate Beth Donnelly and solicitor Ben Smith.
Push Gaming CEO James Marshall said Foot Anstey had played an instrumental role in the deal.

Adam McKenna said the sale of Push Gaming, financial details of which have not been disclosed, represented a significant milestone in the company’s growth journey.
