Global real estate services firm JLL has completed its latest round of eight promotions in the South West, including a new head of development.

The appointments form the latest investment in its people and will boost its teams working in the development & regeneration, industrial & logistics, capital markets and residential sectors.

JLL’s new head of development in the South West is David Roberts, who was previously a director of development and planning in the region.

David, pictured, joined JLL’s Bristol office 14 years ago having previously worked as Wiltshire County Council’s head of regeneration, as development manager at the former South West Regional Development Agency and in accountancy group KPMG’s Bristol-based real estate advisory services team.

Earlier in his career he spent five years as a senior surveyor with King Sturge, which eventually became subsumed into JLL.

The promotions also include Adelle Moore, who is now a director in the residential valuations team in Exeter, Adam Price and Kate Openshaw, who have become associates, and Isabella Lysaght and Oliver Bird, who are now for development & regeneration and industrial & logistics senior surveyors respectively.

Meanwhile, Sophie Warrender has also been promoted for her work in supporting the capital markets team and Jacquie Warren has been promoted to senior team co-ordinator and operations executive in Exeter

JLL head of the South West and Wales Tim Harris said: “These promotions are a reflection of the brilliant work ethic and commitment shown by the team, and also the quality work that they have helped us to deliver for our clients.

“They also demonstrate our commitment to ensuring that we continue to invest in providing a high-quality service for clients in the South West.

“It’s a pleasure to see so many of our employees’ talent recognised in this round of promotions. It is a perfect embodiment of the positive working environment that we aim to create, where people are encouraged to develop their careers and thrive.”

The promotions follow two key appointments for JLL in the region, with the arrival of Henry Blunden and Helen James strengthening its cost management and project management teams as well as growing the residential valuation team with the appointment Adam Sheward earlier this month.

JLL has 31 UK offices, including in Bristol, Exeter and Cardiff.
