DTZ’s Bristol project and building consultancy team is providing professional building surveying services for the £35m regeneration of Dolphin Square Shopping Centre in Weston-super-Mare.

The 200,000 sq ft scheme is to be transformed into a complex including an eight-screen cinema, 112-bed Premier Inn hotel, an indoor bowling alley and eight retail and eight restaurant units.

McLaren Life, a joint venture company set up by McLaren Construction and Life Property, plans to have the redeveloped complex fully open by late 2013.

Michael Fawcett, surveyor in DTZ’s project and building consultancy team, said: “This project is set to transform the existing centre. DTZ already has in-depth knowledge of the centre as managing agents and we have been working closely with our colleagues to establish a complete service to our clients across multiple property disciplines.”
