Two new partners have been appointed to transatlantic law firm Womble Bond Dickinson’s (WBD) Bristol base as part of a series of senior promotions across its UK offices.

Joining the partnership are managing associates Sasha Hinton and Laura Brodie. Sasha, pictured right, a member of the firm’s property disputes team, joined the firm (then Bond Pearce) in 2004.

She specialises in dispute resolution involving all aspects of property management and general commercial property disputes.

Laura, pictured below right, who works in the agriculture, farms & estates team, joined the firm in 2014 after working as a solicitor at Osborne Clarke and Mills & Reeve. She specialises in commercial property and agricultural property transactions.

Partner and head of WBD’s Bristol office Julian Kinsey said: “At WBD, we want our people to enjoy long and successful careers with us and so we work hard to make sure that everyone has the opportunity to develop, grow and be rewarded for their success.

“We’re very proud of the talent held within our firm; Sasha and Laura have shown great commitment to our clients and to the growth of our practice in the region and beyond.”

The firm-wide promotions include a total of five new partners, one legal director and six associates, including Josh Taylor in the Bristol planning and infrastructure team.

Bristol is the second largest of WDB’s eight UK offices, employing more than 230 people. The firm, which provides legal expertise in 11 key sectors, also has 19 offices in the US.
