Bruton Knowles, the national commercial property agency, has strengthened its Bristol-based valuations team with the appointment of Brendan O’Haire.

Brendan has experience of the buoyant Bristol market having worked in the city since he graduated in 2009 – first with Edward Symmons, then with Lambert Smith Hampton (LSH) and more recently with CBRE.

He has worked as a valuation surveyor, mainly producing Red Book reports – valuation reports that adhere to the Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyor’s valuation professional standards – although at CBRE he was undertaking monthly investment fund revaluations for various retail portfolios.

Brendan said: “This is an exciting time to be joining the firm and my aim is to develop and strengthen the existing relationships Bruton Knowles enjoys with active lending banks as well as trying to win new valuation instructions in the charity and SME sectors.”

He will work under Bristol team leader Paul Matthews, who added: “With commercial properties in great demand, and funding available from a range of finance providers, there is a need for good quality valuation advice and we look to react quickly to assist.

“The addition of Brendan to the team will increase our capacity to service our regular clients and provide timely advice to new ones.”

Bruton Knowles has 12 offices across the UK including Gloucester, Cardiff, Taunton and London as well as Bristol.
