Regional accountancy firm Milsted Langdon has welcomed 14 new trainees, including six in its Bristol office, as part of its commitment to train the next generation of tax and accounting experts.

The firm, which also has offices in Bath, Taunton and Yeovil, said it had selected some of the best students from the region’s schools, colleges and universities.

It added that, with a long and proud history of developing up and coming professionals, it is confident its latest recruits will help it meet the growing demand for its services and advice.

Each new trainee will undertake some of the UK’s most challenging qualifications and exams as they progress through their rewarding career with the firm.

Alongside their studies, they will gain valuable professional experience and make an important contribution to Milsted Langdon’s existing teams’ day-to-day work – all the time supported by the firm’s experienced mentors.

Milsted Langdon people partner Rachel Hotham said: “We are delighted to be welcoming so many outstanding new trainees to our firm this year.

“It is great to see the passion they have for the profession and I can’t wait to see what they can achieve in the months and years to come.”

Many of Milsted Langdon’s current managers, directors and partners trained with the firm, rising through the ranks to reach the top of their profession.

Rachel added that this demonstrated the opportunities on offer to trainees and the firm’s commitment to its team’s development and career pathways.

The new Bristol trainees are Cameron Backus, Georgie Hammond, Daniel Tremlett, Kieran Parfitt, Ayobami Afolabi and Lewis Radford.

Milsted Langdon’s 22 partners and 230 staff offer a large range of services from routine compliance matters to specialist tax advice and planning, corporate finance, business intelligence, insolvency, forensic accounting and mediation.
