Carbon Law Partners has continued to grow its Bristol property team with the appointment of two partners to its office in the city.

The Cardiff-based firm said the arrival of Jonathan Beck and Anne Bennett was helping it develop its influence in the highly competitive Bristol property market.

Jonathan, pictured right, focuses on business support and works with businesses in the retail and food and drink retail sectors in Bristol.

Anne, pictured below, joins from Charles Russell Speechlys in Cheltenham.  She is a planning specialist with in-house local authorities experience.

Carbon said: “As the South West property market continues to strengthen, Carbon has answered the growing need for talented property lawyers by bringing together experts in sustainable housing, social housing, local planning, and commercial property support for businesses, universities and other leading Bristol based organisations.” Carbon’s Bristol team also includes insolvency expert Neville Catton, finalist for the Restructuring and Insolvency Awards in 2014.

CEO Michael Burne said Carbon Law was on track to surpass its target of 50 partners in five years.

“We only select the brightest and most brilliant lawyers,” he said. “And the word is spreading. I regularly take calls from frustrated lawyers at top 100 law firms ready to take the step to Carbon.”
