TLT staff go to great heights to raise funds for firm’s charity of the year

More than 50 staff at national law firm TLT abseiled down the side of its iconic 15 storey One Redcliff Street headquarters building in a fundraiser for Children’s Hospice South West, the firm’s charity of the year.

Staff are aiming to raise more than £7,000 as part of a series of planned fundraising events during their 2018/19 financial year. Participants were cheered on by passers-by and friends and family who also came to watch them descend the 200ft tall building.

TLT senior partner Andrew Glynn said: “We’re used to admiring the Bristol skyline from inside the building but facing it out in the elements is a different matter. I am really proud that this was initiated and organised by our charity committee.  It is a great challenge that has captured the attention of all our people at TLT, helping to raise awareness of and funds for Children’s Hospice South West.

Children’s Hospice South West provides care for children with life-limiting conditions and their whole family across the South West – an absolutely vital support service here in the south west that we are proud to support this year.”
