Two Bristol lawyers have been made up to partner in TLT’s annual firm-wide promotions, bringing the total number of partners at the Bristol-headquartered national law firm to 147.

Litigation lawyer Emma Cork and technology & IP lawyer Ed Hayes were among five lawyers promoted to partner at the firm, alongside financial services disputes lawyer Louise Chopra, housing and regeneration lawyer Sarah Hale, and technology & IP lawyer Juliet Mason.

Senior partner Andrew Glynn said: “I am pleased that we can celebrate the success of a number of our talented colleagues across the firm following an exceptionally extraordinary 12 months.

“It is particularly pleasing to note the gender split in these latest promotions, which demonstrates our efforts to improve diversity amongst our partner group.

“We are an ambitious firm with exciting plans for our people and our clients, and investing in our people is a key part of delivering against those objectives and crucial to our future success.

“These promotions recognise the contribution our people continue to make to the development of the firm as we continue to find new ways to meet our clients’ evolving needs.”

The firm has also promoted 11 associates to legal director across its Bristol, London, Manchester and Glasgow offices. Seventeen lawyers have been promoted to associate.

In total, the firm employs around 1,200 people across its offices in Bristol, London, Manchester, Belfast, Edinburgh and Glasgow and in a specialist ship finance team in Greece.
