TLT expands its real estate offering with appointment of public sector expert

The breadth of services offered to public sector clients by Bristol-headquartered national law firm TLT has widen following the appointment of a new partner in its real estate team.

David Meecham, pictured, joins after nearly 20 years at Pinsent Masons, where he and led its national public sector development practice. 

In his new role at TLT he will expand its offering and position the firm as a leader in this practice area.

David has advised numerous government departments, local authorities, London boroughs and other organisations operating in the public sector, including a number of government agencies.

He has many years’ experience dealing with a wide range of property transactions with a particular focus on the acquisition of land/property and large-scale housing/residential led development schemes and advising on property regeneration in the public sector.

He will work closely with TLT senior partner and co-head of government and public services Andrew Glynn and partner and head of affordable housing Linda Convery, continuing to lead on public sector development.

They and the wider team will provide strategic guidance and project specific advice to public sector clients on substantial re-development and regeneration projects.

David’s appointment further increases TLT’s real estate offering, specifically bolstering its position as a leader in housing and regeneration projects for the public sector.
