The Old Fish Market in Baldwin Street has been awarded Master Cellarman status by London’s traditional family brewer Fuller’s. Head brewer John Keeling said: “To gain Master Cellarman status you need to score highly over four consecutive visits so it’s about maintaining a consistent high standard.” To date, 190 Fuller’s pubs hold the Master Cellarman badge of distinction which is displayed as a gong on top of the London Pride pump handle.

“Cellar management is key and it’s all about building a good team around you,” said Ben Reidy who runs the pub. His achievement is even more impressive as The Old Fish Market is Ben’s first pub after a number of years in the trade.
