Each week Bristol Business News gives a prominent member of the city’s business community the last word on our weekly e-bulletin. This week Tom Morris, who will shortly become managing director of CBRE’s Bristol office, answers our 10 questions.

What was the LAST:

Film you watched? The Greatest Showman. Was dragged along to it by my better half but I absolutely loved it!

Book you read? The Naked Trader. Essentially an idiot’s guide to investing in stocks and shares, honest.

Music you bought or downloaded? Rag’n’Bone Man Human

Concert or play you went to? Lion King

Sporting event you attended? Wales vs New Zealand at The Principality. And yes, 1953 was the last time we beat the All Blacks.

Holiday you went on? A stag do to Las Vegas. Not the most relaxing holiday but great fun!

Restaurant you ate in? Technically it was McDonalds with kids… but before that The Ivy, Bristol.

Thing that annoyed you? Putting on weight (over a stone) during December.

Thing that made you laugh out loud? My children on a daily basis. Although I could also use this answer for the above question!

Piece of good advice you were given? Everyone puts their trousers on one leg at a time.

Tom Morris will next quarter become managing director at CBRE Bristol. Having started his career at the firm as a graduate in 2008, he has gained experience in both consultancy in agency over the past 10 years and will continue to work in the capital markets team while carrying out his new role as MD.
