Each week Bristol Business News gives a prominent member of the city’s business community the last word. This week Josh Eggleton, co-founder of Eat Drink Bristol Fashion, answers our 10 questions.

What was the LAST:

Film you watched? Avengers: Age of Ultron on the opening night with the chef team from The Pony & Trap at midnight.

Book you read? The Art of a Restaurateur by Nick Lander or René Redzepi: A Work in Progress.

Music you bought/downloaded? Guardians of the Galaxy Soundtrack.

Concert or play you went to? Probably Glastonbury was the last time I was at a concert.

Sporting event you attended? I don’t like sport but the last thing I went to was the final race for the F1 in Abu Dhabi. I only went for the food and it wasn’t great!

Holiday you went on? Lisbon – great culture, great people. Lots of steps!

Restaurant you ate in? Lasan in Birmingham with Chef Aktar Islam who was a Great British Menu winner.

Thing that annoyed you? People saying they’re stressed.

Thing that made you laugh out loud? I do tend to laugh at other people’s misfortune, which I know I shouldn’t.

Piece of good advice you were given? Never give up, as long as you believe in what you’re doing.

Josh Eggleton is chef patron of The Pony & Trap. He has maintained a Michelin star for this stunning gastropub in the Chew Valley since 2011 and recently opened the nearby tearoom and fish restaurant Salt & Malt. Eat Drink Bristol Fashion is a pop up tapas tipi in Queen Square which will host fine dining events, free music and entertainment every night and throughout the weekends until May 10.
