The Apprentice winner to share secrets of success at Business Showcase South West

The winner of The Apprentice, Joseph Valente, has this afternoon been confirmed as the keynote speaker at next month’s Business Showcase South West.

Staged at the newly completed Ashton Gate Stadium on October 5, BSSW 2016 will celebrate the best of in innovation, creativity and enterprise across the region. It will have up to 225 stands and attract thousands of delegates. 

Joseph Valente, pictured, will be sharing the secrets of his success on the new SLX Theatre main stage in the new West Stand at the Stadium.

He said today: “I am delighted to be providing a special keynote speech at the Business Showcase South West. It’s been quite a ride this last year after winning the most recent Apprentice.

“I will be sharing the secrets of my success, my experiences on the series and doing a Q and A. I am looking forward to engaging with the businesses of one of the most productive regions: The South West.

“It’s not just about the business either for me – for example, I  am involved with supporting young people and offering one on one mentoring sessions – and it’s important for businesses to give something back .

“I hope you can join me and lots of like-minded business delegates and exhibitors at this special free event in such a great and now, complete venue.”

The Showcase was founded by Bristol-based entrepreneur, charity auctioneer and broadcaster Jamie Breese.

Previous speakers have included business icons such as Baroness Brady, Levi Roots, Bristol-based Bev James and Gerald Ratner. Blue-chip sponsors have ranged from Barclays to First Great Western.

Bristol Sport chairman Martin Griffiths said: “We are delighted to welcome the Business Showcase South West to Ashton Gate this year.

“I’m pleased that BSSW has chosen to host its showcase event here at the stadium and we look forward to welcoming Jamie and his team.”
