Bristol-based property development and management company Studio HIVE has launched an innovative design competition to celebrate its first anniversary.

It unveiled a life-size rhinoceros statue outside its new offices on Oakfield Road, Clifton, at its first birthday party last night – and it is now asking Bristol’s creative community and schoolchildren to name and colour it.

The contest is open to anybody in Bristol – from children to adults – and the winning design will be recreated on the rhino. There will also be a prize of a bumper pack of artist materials.

Speaking at the party, which was attended by key figures from the South West’s property development sector, Studio HIVE managing director Jason Collard said: “Bristol is renowned for its creativity and green credentials and as a company that creates valuable, sustainable developments we wanted to launch the competition to reflect both the city and our passions.

“We are looking forward to seeing some great designs and how creative Bristol people can really be.”

Studio HIVE is an innovative property development and management company that creates valuable, sustainable, developments. It has been responsible for several award-winning projects such as the Lakeshore Bristol, Royal Williams, Yard Plymouth and Seven Acres Cambridge.
