Conveyancing firm Hoffman Male is to open an office in Bristol as it expands down the M4 from its Swindon heartland.

The firm, established in Swindon since 1979, is to take space in serviced office firm Regus’ base at Aztec West.

As well as conveyancing, Hoffman Male specialises in wills and probate. Its principal, Mary Hoffman, is taking on a new partner to run the Bristol office, which will open on June 1.

Mary, pictured, said: “We specialise in all aspects of the law relating to property, wills and probate. This includes new-build and shared-ownership properties. There is a buoyant market for this in Bristol, so we hope to be able to quickly build up the business there.

“I am really excited about this development, but what is important, above all else, is ensuring we provide in Bristol the same high-quality service our clients receive in Swindon.”

Mary has also recruited a trainee to join her and her colleagues, Roger Male and Veronica Scott, in Swindon.

“Conveyancing remains extremely busy, particularly the residential side,” she said. “Our wills and probate division is also growing, which is why we needed to recruit. By taking on an apprentice, we can ensure we train that person to the high standards expected of Hoffman Male so they are a real asset to our business and our clients.”
