West property consultancy Alder King has been appointed to find occupiers for a floor of Knightstone Housing’s prestigious headquarters building in Weston-super-Mare.

Construction of the state of the art 40,000 sq ft building ends later this month, bringing to a close one of the largest office UK construction projects outside London.

More than 250 Knightstone staff will relocate to the three-storey building at Weston Gateway Business Park later this month.

Knightstone has now instructed Alder King to market the surplus second floor of the property, one of the highest specification office buildings in North Somerset.

The 13,350 sq ft of Grade A office space is available as a whole or in smaller suites. It comes with on-site car parking, air conditioning and a raft of energy saving features.

Alder King partner and head of agency Simon Price said: “Knightstone’s new HQ has been designed to an exceptionally high standard. There is currently very little open plan office accommodation in Weston so we anticipate there will be strong interest from occupiers keen to secure accommodation in such a high quality building.”

Anne Duff of Knightstone added: “We are very excited at the prospect of moving into our new building. It provides us with an excellent location and easily accessible local facilities.”

The building fronts the A370 dual carriageway and is within 400m of Junction 21 of the M5. It is also within walking distance of Worle Parkway station, which links to the national rail network.
