Smith & Williamson appoints new associate director to its employee benefits team

Pensions and employee benefits specialist Mark Flaskett has joined the Bristol office of accountancy and investment management group Smith & Williamson, bringing with him more than three decades of industry experience.

Mark, pictured, becomes associate director in the firm’s employee benefits team, where he will be advising directors and employees on company and personal pension schemes, corporate wrap products, life cover, risk and private insurances.

He previously worked for Bristol-based firms AXA Sun Life, Hargreaves Lansdown and Aspira Corporate Solutions, holds the Advanced Financial Planning Certificate and is a member of the Personal Finance Society.

He said: “Smith & Williamson has an excellent reputation for the quality of its advice to boards of directors, trustees and employees.

“This is an interesting time to be joining the Bristol office, supporting clients with pensions auto-enrolment as well as implementing cost-effective, tax-efficient recruitment and retention strategies and employee benefits schemes designed to strengthen their competitive advantage in today’s challenging employment market.”
