West law firm Foot Anstey has made three senior promotions. Commercial disputes and brand protection expert Peter Singfield has been promoted to partner. He joined the firm in 2008 from city firm Lovells and became an associate at Foot Anstey in 2010.  Peter works with brand owners and defendants in the media, retail and manufacturing sectors, advising on brand related issues such as copyright, trademarks, websites and passing off claims.

Alongside Peter, both Jonathan Bouchta and William Russell have been promoted to associate.

Jonathan's promotion further strengthens the firm’s real estate  litigation team which advises businesses and government bodies.  He deals with a range of contentious property work including landlord and tenant matters, property related professional negligence, disputes relating to freehold land, site clearance issues and dilapidations claims.

William has been promoted within the firm’s highly regarded idspute resolution team. He has specialist expertise in professional negligence claims and advising clients on the mis-selling of financial products. He also has experience in contentious matters arising from high value contractual agreements and also acts for clients involved in shareholder and partnership disputes.  William is an accredited Solicitor Advocate and conducts advocacy on behalf of the firm’s clients at the High Court in Bristol.

Foot Anstey managing partner at John Westwell said: “These talented lawyers have established themselves as trusted advisors to our clients who demand specialist advice. We are very pleased to reward their commitment and look forward seeing them increase their reputations here at Foot Anstey.”
