Opportunities to do business in Russia are to be outlined at a free seminar in Bristol next week.

Entitled Think Russia, the UK Trade and Investment-staged event, is aimed at companies wishing to investigate the market before making the decision to export, as well as those already trading in Russia.

The world’s largest country and the eighth-largest retail market, Russia has a population of 142m and offers opportunities for businesses in a wide range of sectors including oil and gas, advanced engineering, financial services, ICT, power/energy, sports and leisure, construction, creative industries, rail and water, healthcare and high-end consumer goods.

The seminar will offer the latest information on the Russian economy, the political landscape and cultural considerations as well as what business needs to know in order to trade successfully in the market. A case study speaker will also be on hand to provide invaluable insight into doing trade with Russia.

The event takes place between 09:30am and 4pm next Tuesday at the Bristol Golf Club, St Swithins Park.

After a networking lunch there will also be opportunities to book one-to-one sessions with the seminar guest speakers.

Attendance is free but registration is required. Visit www.uktisw-events.co.uk for further information or call Mandy Brooman on 01275 370 853 or email amanda.brooman@uktisouthwest.org
