Bristol wholesale electrical distributor Templegate Electrical Supplies, which is based on the city’s Templegate Park, has launched a renewables venture from the same location.

The company has taken a 7,171 sq ft warehouse/trade counter unit on a 10-year lease. The unit includes two-storey offices and a large forecourt.

Glyn Bailey at Templegate Renewables said: “Templegate Park has been a great location for our electrical supplies business and we are excited to be driving forward our new venture into the renewables market at the estate.”

Templegate Park, off the A4 Bath Road near Temple Meads station, is managed by DTZ, which also project managed refurbishment works as part of the letting.

Senior surveyor Phil Cranstone at DTZ’s industrial agency said: “Templegate Electrical Supplies has been based at the estate for a number of years and was keen to secure further space for their expansion into the renewables market.”

He said only one unit remains available at the park which has proved popular due to its central but accessible location.
