Regional sales manager joins oil and gas sector supplier Alderley Systems

Global metering services firm Alderley Systems, part of the South Gloucestershire advanced engineering group Alderley, has appointed Kim Ruthven as new regional sales manager.

In her new role, Kim, pictured, will be responsible for promoting Alderley’s metering systems business in the UK, Europe and the Caspian region.

The Wickwar-based firm specialises in the engineering, supply, operation and aftermarket support of bespoke metering and control systems to the oil and gas industry.

Kim started her career at US energy industry group FMC Technologies and brings with her 10 years’ experience in topside metering products and in particular expertise on a range of metering technologies such Orifice and Venturi.

Alderley group business development director Eric Maddock said: “Kim will be a great addition to our team. She is technically strong in a range of metering products and we are pleased to have her on board as we look to continually strengthen our client relationships and excellence in the metering industry.”

Kim added: “I have always seen Alderley as a company that has a vast amount of expertise and one that sets high standards from design all the way to lifetime care. I am looking forward to being part of this team and contributing to the ongoing success.”

Alderley supplies innovative metering, processing, treatment and control services to the global oil, gas and petrochemical industries. It has supplied more than 750 systems to 50-plus countries and has regional bases in the UAE, Saudi Arabia and Singapore.
