Annual turnover at Bristol recruitment specialist Resource Solutions Group (RSG) has soared by nearly 45% to above £400m for the first time following a spate of client wins and growth in its regional office network.

The group, whose brands include Sanderson and Resource Management, chalked up an increase of more than £130m to £426m over the past financial year as it increased capacity and continued to develop open new sites. It now boasts 11 branches across the UK as well as its head office in Clifton.

RSG’s rapid growth over recent years at the group, which employs more than 270 people, has been recognised by the Sunday Times Grant Thornton Top Track 250 league table, which ranks Britain’s private mid-market growth companies with the biggest sales.

In the latest version it achieved number 33 – a leap of 149 places in just three years.

RSG co-founder and CEO Mike Beesley, pictured, said: “The position RSG finds itself in is a great credit to the incredible hard work and focus shown throughout the company at a time of significant growth both in terms of clients and geography.

“We have a recruitment history stretching back to 1975, and our rapid recent growth is built on deep foundations and knowledge of the markets in which we operate.

“Our experience and track record speak for themselves. However, we understand fully that companies should strive to evolve and adapt to new business conditions or practices as they unfold.

“RSG has achieved this on all counts and the financial growth associated with this is clear to see in our numbers.”

The group has also launched a major corporate social responsibility programme to give back to the community with The Prince’s Trust, which supports disadvantaged young people across the UK to continue their education and take their first steps into work. The Trust has been RSG’s chosen charity since 2017 and recently more than 50 RSG staff raised £4,000 by taking part in The Prince’s Trust Future Steps challenge.

RSG managing director Jon Ball added: “This is a remarkable achievement that is testimony to the teams on the ground ability to not only deliver high performance but also really build relationships and put people at the heart of everything we do.”

RSG provides a range of individually tailored and professional recruitment services to multi-nationals, household names and small and medium-sized businesses. It is still led by founder Keith Dawe along with Mike Beesley.
