Pure Comms continues expansion with data specialist appointment

Fast-growing Clevedon-based telecoms company Pure Comms has appointed Rob MacDonald, pictured, as data specialist. An experienced figure in the telecoms sector, for the past 10 years he has worked in a managerial role for CableCom Networking, also based in Clevedon.

Pure Comms, which counts Bristol Airport, Britannia Windows and Bristol-based recruitment firm Opus as clients, has achieved strong month-by-month growth this year. The firm’s services span providing IP phone systems, network services and support along with cabling and equipment. It began trading in 2009 at the height of the recession and now employs 12 members of staff.

Latest arrival Rob MacDonald said: “I want to help Pure Comms to continue to grow and deliver the high level of customer service they have become known for. Pure Comms founder and managing director Rob Vivian added: “Rob is highly experienced and will add technical and industry knowledge to our team. It’s no secret we have big ambitions as a company and Rob will be key to us as we continue to expand.”
