Solar panel distribution specialist A S Solar has moved from Long Ashton to a unit at South Liberty Lane industrial estate in South Bristol to cope with growing demand.
The firm, which distributes photovoltaic panels and equipment to contractors working in the solar panel industry, has taken a 3,603 sq ft unit at the the SEGRO-run business hub in in a deal brokered by property agents Colliers International.
Jonathan Allen, of Colliers, said proximity to its existing customer base and improved access to the main road network were factors in A S Solar’s move.
“Competitive marketing and improved facilities continue to attract business to South Bristol and helps South Liberty Lane retain its edge as the industrial hub of choice in central and South Bristol,” he said.
SEGRO regional leasing manager Chris Davies said good quality and refurbished accommodation was still attracting interest.
