Property brief: Growth sparks move for electrical firm

Electrical contractor KSCM is moving from Staple Hill in Bristol to a converted barn unit at the Nibley Business Park, Yate, to gain better access to the M4 and the main road network.

The deal, brokered by property agents Colliers International, keeps the firm close to its South Gloucestershire customer base while allowing it to continue to win work further afield.

It has just completed a major assignment installing security cameras at Bath’s SouthGate shopping and has also been involved in several similar projects overseas.

The firm was launched 16 months ago by director Keyton Matthews as a sole trader and now employs three staff.
Colliers International industrial expert Jonathan Allen said the 750 sq ft Nibley unit is ideally sized and situated for a small business such as KSCM.
