Promotions and new appointments at Hartnell Taylor Cook as firm continues to grow

Hartnell Taylor Cook, the Bristol-based independent commercial property consultancy, has made a raft of promotions and new appointments following another successful financial year.

Its draft results for 2014/15 indicate a 10% year-on-year growth in turnover with an increase in profits which it described as “satisfactory”.

The firm continues to invest in its personnel to strengthen its service and has further developed its building consultancy and professional teams and other consultancy teams in Bristol and London with the following appointments:

Richard Peszynski, pictured,is promoted to director in the Bristol offices’ project & building consultancy – a move which brings him back to his home city after being based in Edward Symmons’ London office.  He has 25 years’ experience as a qualified building surveyor, covering all aspects of the professional throughout the UK and was accredited as a RICS Civil Commercial Mediator bringing a new service to the business.

Rhys Davies becomes an associate director in the Bristol offices’ project & building consultancy. He joins from Edward Symmons’ Bristol office, where he has worked since qualifying in 2009 and is responsible for the recent appointment by the Maritime and Coastguard Agency (MCA) to provide building consultancy advice on the whole of their UK portfolio.

Jack Bonnick joins as a graduate surveyor in the Bristol project & building consultancy. Although a graduate surveyor, Jack joins from Rider Levett Bucknall where he has obtained two years’ work experience. He will support the team as a whole and in particular assist Rhys Davies with the MCA commission.

Alexandra Deere joins as a trainee surveyor on a year’s work experience in property & asset management from University of West of England, where she is studying Estate Management.

Charlotte Daniels, who also joins for a year’s work experience from University of West of England, becomes a trainee accountant. She is currently studying Accounting and Finance.

David More has been recruited as an associate director in the firm’s London office. He has more than 10 years’ experience in retail professional consultancy covering all aspects of the market throughout the UK.  He arrives from Rapleys’ Huntingdon office and previously worked for NB Real Estate in Edinburgh and Cushman & Wakefield and Churston Heard in London.

A number of key members of staff have also been promoted in recognition of their contribution to the firm’s success, including:-
