The national HealthInvestor Awards aim to promote excellence and recognise outstanding performance in the health and social care sector.

Bevan Brittan Bevan Brittan secured the Legal Advisors of the Year – Transactional and Legal Advisors of the Year – Private titles and was also a finalist in in the Legal Advisor of the Year – Public category, which was claimed by DAC Beachcroft.

It is the sixth year the firm has been among the winners and the third in a row it has triumphed in the ‘Legal Advisors of the Year – Transactional’ category.

DAC Beachcroft, which was also shortlisted in the Legal Advisors of the Year – Private category, said its success in the Legal Advisor of the Year – Public category for a second successive year reinforced its market-leading position in the healthcare sector and cemented another strong year for its health team.

Over the past 12 months it has worked at the heart of cutting-edge projects and strategically significant challenges to support clients in delivering improved patient outcomes and to help shape the future of health and social care.

“I’ve supported health and social care clients for all of my career, and the pressure they have faced recently is unprecedented.

“As legal advisors we’ve had to help our clients navigate very complex commercial, legal and operational issues, and the whole team at Bevan Brittan has stepped up to do that.

“Our success at the HealthInvestor Awards is down to the hard work and expertise of everyone in our health and social care team, and most importantly to our clients who trust us every day.”

DAC Beachcroft head of health Nigel Montgomery, pictured below, who is also based in Bristol, added: “The HealthInvestor Awards attract entries from the very best organisations across the sector.

“For the team’s work to be recognised in this way is a huge endorsement of our lawyers’ expertise and their outstanding commitment to our health and social care clients.

“To win two years in a row is a remarkable achievement, and I would like to congratulate our legal and business support teams whose dedication and hard work played a part in helping the firm secure this prestigious award.”

The winners were announced in front of more than 1,200 health professionals at London’s Grosvenor House Hotel.
