Bristol corporate communications specialists AMBITIOUS PR has marked its 10th anniversary by relocating its office, recruiting more staff and winning new clients.

The agency has also reshaped its senior leadership team to drive further growth and add value to its expanding client base.

The move to Courtyard House on Oakfield Road, Clifton, from its previous base in Hampton Road, Redland, gives AMBITIOUS room to expand and follows a string of new client wins this year, including the UK’s largest apprentice training provider Lifetime, community engagement and investment platform Neighbourly, Acorn Property Group, business transformation consultants Avantix, legal tech platform LawBite and Paramount, the commercial interiors specialist.

They join an existing roster of blue chip and fast-growth clients including telecoms group Telefonica, wealth management and financial planning firm St James’s Place and Xledger, the rapid-growth Bristol-headquartered finance software company.

AMBITIOUS has also appointed Dani Andres as an associate director with a remit to drive a culture of creativity.

Dani, who previously worked at Bristol PR agencies Purplefish, Plaster and Spirit, joins AMBITIOUS owners Lis Anderson and Sarah Woodhouse, client services director Helen Embleton and finance manager Sandra Hodgson in the newly formed senior management team.

Other new appointments are UWE Bristol journalism and PR graduate Will Reid, who joins as a PR executive, and Bath Spa University publishing and creative writing graduate May Mower, who is the agency’s new digital marketing assistant.

Having strengthened its digital PR and digital communications, and media relations offering last year to meet client demands, AMBITIOUS’s revenue soared by 50% and is now on track to exceed £1.2m this year.

AMBITIOUS co-founder and director Lis Anderson, who has more than 20 years’ experience in the B2B and B2C marketing communications industry, said: “Over the last decade we have developed an enviable reputation across the business community because we constantly move with the times and strive to keep pace with the relentless revolution of the media to support our clients.

“These are exciting times for AMBITIOUS and we are taking important steps to strengthen our position in the PR industry.

“Our investment in outstanding new talent, brilliant new workspace and highly experienced new leadership team signals our commitment to fuel future growth over the next ten years and beyond.”
