National law firm Bevan Brittan has promoted Bristol-based planning specialist Kathryn Lawrance to partner.

Kathryn, pictured, advises public and private sector clients on all aspects of planning matters including regeneration and sustainable development, compulsory purchases and planning appeals.

Her clients include local authorities, developers, registered housing providers, NHS trusts and major corporate clients.

She is one of three new partners at Bevan Brittan, which also has offices in London, Leeds and Birmingham.

In addition, the firm has promoted four lawyers to senior associate and five to associate across its offices and departments.

Managing partner Duncan Weir said: “I am delighted to be appointing these three highly experienced lawyers to partner.  Each of them works in important markets and work areas for the firm, where client demand is growing.

“We had a successful year last year, including expanding the firm to open a new office in Leeds. As we begin our new financial year, appointing Kathryn to partner is a sign of our confidence around continued future growth.”
