The Bristol office of property agency Knight Frank has expanded its investment agency department with the appointment of Nick Thurston as an associate. Nick, who has moved from the office’s industrial agency, joined Knight Frank in May 2010 having previously worked in commercial property agencies in Bristol and for a development company in London.

Nick, pictured, is replaced in the industrial team by Ben Davies.

Steve Oades, who heads the Knight Frank Bristol office, said: “The investment market remains tough but we are busy. Nick has a great all round knowledge of the property market and his appointment will help us grow this important part of the business.”

The Knight Frank investment teams in Bristol and Cardiff transacted deals worth more than £209m in the year to April.

Recent Bristol deals include £12m of acquisitions at Bristol Business Park, the sale of the iconic Colston Tower to Development Securities for £7m and the sale of No 1 The Square, Temple Quay, for in excess of £12.5m.
