Partner promotions signal further growth at TLT

Bristol-headquartered national law firm TLT is promoting four of its associates to partner, bringing the total number of partners at the firm to 115.

The new partners, whose promotions take effect on May 1, are real estate lawyer Philip Collis, energy and renewables corporate lawyer Kay Hobbs, banking & lender services lawyer Frances Thompson, and private client international tax specialist Christopher Williamson.

The firm has also promoted 14 associates to legal director and 22 solicitors to associate.

Senior partner Andrew Glynn said: “Our internal promotions recognise the role all our people play in the success of our UK-wide growth strategy.

“That success is grounded both in what value we create for our clients and the opportunities we can provide our people. Those now promoted have the ability and drive to help the firm build sustainable long-term growth.”

TLT’s new legal directors are:

  • Karen Cornwell, Louise Chopra, Helen Williams, Catherine Cain, Dominic Gilmore and Nick Curling (banking and lenders services)
  • Duncan Reed, Joanne Gardner-Boyes, David White and John Fleming (commercial services)
  • Alexander Payne, Elisabeth Williams and Andrew Harper (real estate)
  • Nic Gale (support)

TLT’s new associates are:

  • James Jaffa, Gary Jones, Amelia Jarrett, Gayle Folkard, Alex Williamson, Kate Shipton, Robert Naylor and Gary Freeman (commercial services)
  • Lizzie Stone (employment pensions and incentives)
  • Fiona Bell, Isabelle Clements, Emma McNerney, Sarah Worker (real estate)
  • Laura Hawker, Emily Dunford, Sam Storey, Roisin McGlinn, Ben Hanham, Katie Hill, Lucy Freeman (banking and lenders services)
  • Nick Sawle (private business)
  • Alison Dell (support)

TLT Bristol, London, Manchester, Glasgow, Edinburgh and Belfast as well as a specialist ship finance team in Piraeus, Greece. The firm has more than 100 partners and employs 1,000-plus people.
