Regional law firm Michelmores has appointed Bristol-based tax, trusts & succession team member James Radcliffe to a partner. The move, along with a partner promotion in its London office, takes the firm’s overall partnership to 64.

Michelmores has also promoted two lawyers in its Bristol office to senior associate level.

James Radcliffe’s practice focuses on the mitigation of capital taxes and the long-term devolution of private wealth. He advises both UK domiciled and non-UK domiciled individuals on wills, trusts and other structures intended to preserve assets.

Promoted to partner in its London office is Charlotte Antoniou, an education specialist supporting various educational institutions, including schools, academies and free schools, with particular expertise in establishing collaborative structures and supporting groups to open new schools.

Meanwhile, Edward Porter in the tax, trusts & succession team and Adam Corbin in the agriculture team have become senior associates.

Managing partner Malcolm Dickinson said: “We are delighted to promote this year’s partners and senior associates, recognising their expertise and excellent contribution to the firm.

“I am particularly pleased to see three of this year’s promotions based in our Bristol office – which has seen continuous growth since opening in 2012.

“Congratulations to Charlotte, James, Edward and Adam on reaching this significant milestone in their careers.”

Michelmores also has an office in Exeter.
