Bristol-based has completed its latest project for Oxford Brookes University – a £15m accommodation scheme at the university’s Harcourt Hill Campus.

The scheme has created two large blocks, providing 318 en-suite rooms with shared kitchens and double bed studio rooms. The development includes separate common rooms for under and postgraduate students to socialise.
The project will achieve a BREEAM 'very good' rating.
Partner in charge Michael Magri said: “GSSArchitecture has also designed a number of similar developments at Oxford Brookes University including Clive Booth Student Village. These also have a mix of individual single en-suite and double room studios for postgraduate students.  We have substantial experience across all sectors, with a key involvement in student accommodation, working alongside colleges, universities and third party providers.”
GSS have worked with Oxford Brookes University for more than 15 years and designed buildings to the value of more than £80m.
The main contractor under a design and build contract is Leadbitter Construction.
