Chartered surveyors and property consultancy Sanderson Weatherall is to open an office in Bristol next month.

The firm, which has its roots in the North of England, said the new office is part of a long-term strategy for national growth and will complement its bases in Leeds, Newcastle, Teesside, Manchester and London.

The office will be managed by George Penrice with a local partner Aaron Treliving as head of office. It will provide a wide range of property, plant and equipment services in line with the company’s current business practices.

Sanderson Weatherall managing partner Andrew Ellis said: “As a company we have been looking at growth strategies for some time and expanding our geographical coverage is central to this.

“Our ability to offer the highest quality professional and expert advice across an expansive range of services has served our clients well. Indeed it is the loyalty and support of such clients that is enabling us to expand. In doing so, we hope to accommodate their requests for country wide property services. This new office is a natural progression for the company, emphasising our commitment to becoming a well-placed, truly national property consultant.”

Mr Penrice, who will manage the Bristol office, has considerable experience in the property field. With a background in building consultancy and architecture, his interest is in multi-disciplinary contracts that cover all the various services.

He said: “I look forward to utilising my expertise and regional knowledge to build the business in Bristol. Sanderson Weatherall’s reputation for quality and professionalism as well as their expertise will be a huge support and will underpin our business practices.”
