Personal injury and private client law firm NewLaw Solicitors has acquired the entire second floor of Bristol’s Tower Wharf office building.

The firm has taken a five-year lease on 13,545 sq ft of open-plan, high-quality space, which will act as the Cardiff-headquartered firm’s Bristol office.

NewLaw Solicitors was established in 2004 to specialise in all areas of personal injury law from whiplash claims to catastrophic injury cases and private client work from wills, trusts and probate to Court of Protection work. It also has an office in Basingstoke and Glasgow.

Head of NewLaw’s Bristol office Jon Fitzpatrick said: “Over the past couple of years we’ve successfully established ourselves as a leading firm in Bristol.

“We ranked in the Legal 500 for the South West region in 2014 and business is going from strength to strength.

“As a result, we were looking for larger premises to accommodate our growing team. Tower Wharf is the perfect location for us as it’s easily accessible and right in the heart of the city. We’re looking forward to settling into our new home.”

The deal was agreed by joint agents DTZ and Hartnell Taylor Cook acting for The Trustees of Rockspring Hanover Property Unit Trust.

New Law will be joining existing occupiers Lambert Smith Hampton, The Oracle Corporation and The Insolvency Service.

James Rodge of Rockspring said: “Tower Wharf provides an attractive working environment set in a very convenient location within the city providing easy access to fellow businesses and we are delighted New Law will be moving to the second floor.“

Andy Heath, director, office agency at DTZ in Bristol, added: “NewLaw chose Tower Wharf because of the quality of the newly remodelled reception area and approach along with the highly efficient floor plate, allowing them to occupy the building far more efficiently than  other comparable buildings.”
