New partners at Clarke Willmott as it grows its personal injury and social housing teams

National law firm Clarke Willmott, which has a large office in Bristol office, has appointed two new partners – personal injury and clinical negligence lawyer Chris Thorne and property specialist Sarah Hind.

Chris, pictured below, specialises in acting for victims of clinical negligence and personal injuries and is a leading expert in cryogenics, IVF and male fertility – his view on sperm destruction cases is respected in jurisdictions around the world. 

He represented the claimants in the ground breaking case Yearworth vs North Bristol NHS Trust and victims of Sheffield and Edinburgh sperm destruction incidents.

Sarah, pictured right, who is also head of social housing finance, has been made partner in recognition of her work in playing a leading role in Clarke Willmott’s securitisation and charging offering in the social housing sector.

She has experience of a wide range of commercial property transactions for institutional funders, public and private sector clients including landlord and tenant, portfolio management and acquisitions and disposals of both freehold and leasehold properties.

Clarke Willmott chief executive Stephen Rosser said: “Chris is widely acknowledged as a leader in his field and he will significantly strengthen our growing personal injury and clinical negligence practice.
