The Original Bristol Blue Glass Company has relocated to a new studio and shop on the Bath Road in Brislington, Bristol.

The company, which celebrates its 25th anniversary this year, has taken the retail showroom and workshop at 357-359 Bath Road on a new 10-year lease in a deal arranged through property consultants Alder King.

The premises have a total of 3,210 sq ft of accommodation with a rear yard.

Sharon Crapanzano of Bristol Blue Glass said: “We are very proud to be keeping this local, historical and magical profession alive by moving to more prominently-located premises in this our anniversary year.

“The new shop, together with a new website to follow later in the year, will be bursting with even more glass-blowing creativity and a wonderful range of new glass collections and gifts.”

Alder King retail surveyor Emma Smith added: “The new shop’s position on the Bath Road, directly opposite the entrance to Arnos Vale Cemetery, will give Bristol Blue Glass greater visibility and the opportunity to benefit from passing footfall and traffic.”

Alder King acted on behalf of a private landlord; Bristol Blue Glass Company was unrepresented.
