Bristol-based advertising, design and digital agency Stuff has moved to a new office and continued its growth with a raft of clients and staff hirings.

The agency has relocated from Mariner House in Prince Street to The Georgian House on Gas Ferry Road close to Aardman Animation’s HQ and the SS Great Britain.

Managing director Jonnie Galvin-Wright said the new office gave it a typically creative space on Bristol’s Harbourside.

“Our old office had become too small and we were looking for somewhere that allowed us to continue our growth but also create a creative space for our team yet also retain a bit of Stuff’s long standing character of doing things a bit differently,” he said.

“The new building is wonderfully Georgian with its high ceilings and large rooms but also quirky in its layout and location.”

The move coincides with stuff winning a number of new clients including Henry Howard Finance (for brand and marketing), Zest Recruitment (brand and website), The Pituitary Foundation (advertising) and Unity Automotive (dealer marketing support across brands such as Subaru, Isuzu and SsangYong).

There has also been a number of staffing changes and new arrivals.

Jonnie added: “As a full service advertising and design agency our services are of course reflective of modern day marketing needs and especially in the digital space. To account for this and our new clients we are delighted to promote various members of staff and also welcome a number of new and very talented people.”

Lauren Tregaskes is promoted to senior account manager to reflect her growing senior role in the running of client servicing in the agency and also more senior involvement on client’s business. Lauren originally joined from Bray Leino and is now in charge of the day-to-day running of a number of high-profile accounts such as Royal Canin (Mars).

Will Tombs now takes on a wider role within Stuff’s digital team with a remit across all digital marketing output from websites to social and is also now responsible for a new internal team.

Jonnie said: “In just six months since he joined us, Will has driven our digital marketing output on to a new level with some excellent work collaborating with our existing team and has achieved some great results for our clients.”

To support Will, Javier Ductor Peters joins us as digital marketing coordinator and will provide for more social media and content across its client’s activities. Javier holds a first class honours degree in Advertising Design from the University of South Wales and has been working as both an art director and digital marketing manager prior to joining Stuff.

The creative department has taken on Joe Baker and Monica Tuffs as designers.

Joe is an experienced graphic designer built up over seven years and a proven track record in creating high-quality, innovative designs across a broad range of market sectors in both consumer and corporate/B2B scenarios. He has a degree in Graphic Communication from Bath Spa University.

Monica holds both a degree in Graphic Design and also a masters in Design from Northumbria University and up to now has worked as a freelance designer and also running her own clothing brand.

Stuff creative director Richard Spruce said: “These are some great additions to the team and I am sure our clients will benefit enormously from their involvement.”

The office agency team was appointed by its private landlord client to market the property, which had been empty for about three years, while the consultancy’s building surveyors oversaw a £35,000 external refurbishment. The move to the refurbished Grade II listed Georgian House follows a marketing campaign by the Bristol office of national property consultancy Lambert Smith Hampton (LSH).

LSH office agent Roxi Foster, pictured, said: “The refurbishment brought about a real increase in enquiries from businesses looking for a stylish period building and it transformed its look and feel. It quickly led to Stuff Advertising signing up.”
