Commercial property specialists Colliers International has made a number of new appointments at its Bristol office to meet a steep increase in workload as the city’s property sector continue to recover strongly.

The firm said activity levels are returning to pre-recession levels, which in turn is triggering significant increases in its activity.

Office head Tim Davies said the latest round of appointments provided further evidence of the rapidly-accelerating economy in Bristol.

Among the new recruits, Emily Cooke joins the Bristol-based ratings and roadside automotive teams working with Will Jolly and Ben Batchelor-Wylam.  She was previously with Allianz.

Hannah Lamborn will join Peter Brunt and Simon Wells in the successful hotels team, which has taken on an unprecedented 11 properties with a total value of £13m in the past three weeks alone. She will also be working with the corporate restructuring team.

Amelia O’Dell joins the building consultancy team from Protect ES in Northampton.

Completing the new line-up is Sally Davis who joins Marcus Plaw in the planning team from PCL Planning.

Tim Davies added: “As the development market gathers momentum Colliers International is investing in its planning departments to service a large number of national and international clients.

“Demand is higher than it has been for several years and I am confident these new appointments will make a significant contribution to our busy Bristol-based teams.”
