Planning, design and regeneration consultancy Nash Partnership has strengthened the planning team in its Bristol office with the appointment of a senior urban designer.

Neil Harvie, pictured, has worked with private and public sector clients and has experience of complex urban settings and addressing rural challenges.

He brings with him a mix of planning and design experience and a diverse portfolio from two high-profile London practices.

He most recently worked at Farrells, where he drove forward mixed-use projects from Mayfair to unlocking development in London’s outer boroughs and led the design team on London Resort, a world-class theme park.

Prior to that he spent more than three years at Savills in London where, among other projects, he worked alongside Cornwall Council to secure a deliverable eco-town near the Eden Project.

Nash Partnership associate planning director Mike Fox said: “Neil’s unique mix of planning and urban design experience is very relevant to a lot of the challenges facing our clients. His strong track record of working on schemes both large and small means he will play an important role in creating places with character and identity.”

Nash Partnership, which has its headquarters in Bath, provides an integrated offer for the built environment including architecture, planning, urban design, regeneration, spatial economics masterplanning and heritage expertise.
