Bristol-based brand consultancy Mr B & Friends has created a ground-breaking new identity and website for Verne Global, the industry-leading data centre solutions provider.

Verne Global provides high-intensity computing services to clients across a broad range of sectors – from engineering to financial services – from a former NATO site-turned-data centre in Iceland.

Mr B & Friends, which works with a wide spread of local, national and international clients, was appointed to develop a brand identity and digital estate that could communicate Verne Global’s capability at a time when its services were more sought-after than ever before.

The agency created a strategy around the brand positioning of ‘Supernatural power’, which captures Verne Global’s ability to harness the natural forces in its location to generate high intensity computing that satisfies the needs of innovative companies across the globe.

Mr B & Friends CEO Simon Barbato, pictured, said: “Verne Global has an incomparable offering in terms of technology, supply and customer experience but it needed a brand that really demonstrated that power.

“Its visual presence and innovative website now mark the company out as a true industry leader.”

Mr B & Friends has used authentic imagery that establishes a visual relationship between the natural power of the Icelandic environment and the technical power and prowess of Verne’s offering, along with what it describes as a dynamic website layout and intuitive user-interaction to deliver an experience that feels truly immersive.

Flashes of punchy accents help pull the user in, flagging key content and points of interaction. Together with the distinctive new brand positioning, this validates Verne Global’s leading provider credentials, said the agency.

“Brought to life with a clear, direct tone of voice and copy that demonstrates the undeniable benefits of the positive energy that powers Verne’s solutions, the result is real and lasting impact,” added Simon.

“A suite of new collateral, video and graphics has provided the data centre solutions provider with a memorable brand to aid it in realising its vision for future growth.”

Verne Global CEO Dominic Ward said: “We’re thrilled with the new brand and website, which have supercharged our appeal to customers – both current and potential.

“The new positioning gives us an impressive platform from which to grow and helps demonstrate the limitless possibilities Verne Global can offer.”

Mr B & Friends’ high-profile work in and around Bristol has included the redesign of Bristol City FC’s crest, the rebranding of Bristol Rugby as Bristol Bears and a new brand identity and website for fast-growing regional broadband provider TrueSpeed.
