National law firm Clarke Willmott, which has its main office in Bristol, is predicting further growth next year after achieving a 10% increase in turnover in 2015.

Turnover at the firm, which took on an additional 50 staff this year and opened an office in Cardiff, came in at £39.9m – up from £36.2m last year.

Chief executive Stephen Rosser, pictured, said: “We’ve invested significantly in recruitment, bolstering our key areas of growth including private client, corporate, property and social housing and the investment has clearly paid off.

“We’re very much on track for next year and we’re looking forward to more growth as we continue to strengthen our offering. Our strong results are a tribute to the superb work from our outstanding and dedicated staff, so a huge thank you must go to them.”

Earlier this year Clarke Willmott received top results in Legal 500 and Chambers, the sector’s two most important publishers of legal rankings.

The firm has its roots in the West of England, having been established in Somerset in 1888. It now has offices in Birmingham, Cardiff, London, Manchester, Southampton, and Taunton as well as Bristol, and employs around 100 partners and 400-plus staff across.

Its services span property, planning, construction, dispute resolution, corporate and commercial, intellectual property, employment and HR consultancy, personal injury, clinical negligence, insolvency and debt recovery.
