More growth on the cards for building consultancy after Bristol office move

Specialist building services consultancy Method Consulting has relocated its Bristol office to larger premises to give it room for further growth.

The consultancy, which specialises in engineering and sustainability projects, has moved from Old Market Street to Queens Quay on Queen Square. It said the newly refurbished office also gave it improved working conditions.

The relocation comes just two years after the firm, which also has bases in Swindon and Plymouth, opened in Bristol.

Since then a succession of new client wins and a growing portfolio of projects has resulted in the Bristol team growing from one member of staff to seven.

The firm as a whole has grown steadily since it was formed eight years ago, fuelled by increasing pressures on the construction industry to become more sustainable.

Senior associate in charge of the Bristol office, Matt Smith, said design teams and construction companies were now increasingly relying on building services engineers to give advice on sustainability due to the greater demand for more sustainable buildings.

“Having outgrown our previous space, this move to our new office in a great location in the heart of Bristol will give us the space we need to continue our plans for expansion over the coming months and years,” he added.

“It’s an exciting time for the team in Bristol as we settle into our new home.”

Method Consulting focuses on building services and sustainability in the built environment with expertise in sustainable building design, building services engineering and the application of renewable energy for buildings.
