Media: Montage Communications lands Brabantia PR account

Bristol-based digital marketing outfit Montage Communications has won a five-way pitch to manage the UK-wide public relations account for Brabantia, one of the top housewares brands in Europe.

Montage, based near Whiteladies Road, Clifton, has been running Brabantia's international social media account for the past 12 months and now plans to create a multi-tiered campaign to combine the best of digital PR with traditional PR and print media.

Montage director Aime Southgate said: “Over the past year we’ve been using social media to raise Brabantia’s profile, showcasing its expertise and passion for interior design and trends while reinforcing the brand's commitment to creating functional, timeless and iconic products.”

Brabantia sales director David Slater said: “The Montage team demonstrated understanding, passion and enthusiasm about the Brabantia brand. Their recommendations were highly creative, aligned to our vision and showed strong strategic thinking. They understand how to combine classic PR with online PR to achieve outstanding results.”

Brabantia, which has its UK head office, manufacturing and logistics facility at Nailsea, is one of the top three houseware brands in Europe and is best known for its aluminium kitchen bins. It also has factories in Holland, Belgium, Latvia and China.
