Marketing director joins Oasis Dental Care as its first TV ad campaign gets under way

Bristol-based provider of NHS, private and specialist dental care Oasis Dental Care has appointed Liz Iles as marketing director.

Liz, pictured, joins from Pukka Herbs in Bristol. Her arrival coincides with Oasis’ first national TV advertising campaign, created by McCann Bristol, which has been screened on ITV1 this month.

Liz has considerable consumer brand experience, having worked at in brand management, marketing and insight roles for 15 years at Kraft Foods and market research firm Millward Brown as well as Pukka Herbs.

She will help Oasis establish itself as the UK’s first national dentistry brand. The firm, which has 350 practices across England, Wales and Northern Ireland employing more than 3,000 staff including 1,500 dentists and cares for 3m-plus people, is ramping up its marketing efforts to continue its rapid growth of recent years.

The company recently entered the Top 20 of the prestigious Sunday Times/BDO Profit Track 100.

Liz said: “It is a hugely exciting time to be working at Oasis Dental Care. We are leading the market with numerous industry firsts including the launch of a national TV advertising campaign.”

It is also undertaking a PR campaign  with Fred Sirieix, the maître d’ from Channel 4’s Bafta-winning First Dates, on the ‘power of the smile’.

Chief executive Justin Ash added: “We are building the first national dentistry brand at Oasis Dental Care and to succeed we need the right people to deliver that vision. Liz brings considerable knowledge and experience to the senior team and has already brought this to bear in managing our first national TV advertising campaign.”
