A new senior management team has been appointed at Bristol and London-based integrated marketing agency Fiora as it strengthens its pledge to clients to help them achieve ‘beautiful growth’.

The agency, which works with global brands including Subway, Bathroom Village, RAC and Wessex Garages, leverages design, data and digital solutions to maximise opportunities in a changing, post-pandemic marketing landscape.

The management shake-up involves changes to six senior roles including the appointment of a new chief executive officer (CEO), managing director (MD) and creative director, among other roles.

Founder David Wenn moves into the CEO role, where his main focus will be the strategic growth of Fiora and its partner companies, while planning director Matt Rees is promoted to managing director.

The agency’s co-founder Angela Pace moves to a client relationships director role and client services manager Leanne Buffery is promoted to client services director.

Completing the new-look team is Joanne Ledwidge, who moves from financial manager to financial director, while Costas Michalia becomes its new strategy and innovation director and Mick Brigdale joins as creative director.

Fiora was relaunched in 2019 when David Wenn brought together four specialist agencies – Creation, Crab, Site Reach and Info Group – to build an integrated team equipped with the skillsets needed to produce effective campaigns in-house, without the need to outsource.

It has since continued to grow, achieving turnover last year of £3.5m and growing its team in Bristol and London to more than 40 specialists.

Its client list also includes Alpro, Nature Valley, Haribo, Naissance, Prodigy and Feel Good Drinks.

David, pictured, said: “We’ve restructured to maximise the performance of our clients’ projects and campaigns, delivering them with skill and efficiency.

“As an integrated agency designed for a digital world, the new structure chimes with our vision.”

He said the restructure meant the agency was now focussed on delivering on its promise of ‘beautiful growth’ for its clients, its team and its business.

“It really is so exciting to announce these team changes as we emerge from the pandemic period where the marketing landscape changed so much,” he added.

“Matt was the natural choice for the MD role. His experience, commitment and instinct for leadership have been a huge part of our success and I’m excited to see him apply that across the whole business.”

Matt Rees, who brings more than 25 years’ experience working within agencies to his new role, added: “I’ve done the best work of my career at Fiora – we partner with great clients and have a supportive, talented team of highly experienced people. I am very proud and excited to be a part of this fantastic, entrepreneurial agency.”

New creative director Mick Brigdale has 30 years’ experience working with top brands such as Very, Unilever and Mars for St Luke’s, JWT and DDB Europe, amongst others.
