Accountants Smith & Williamson has strengthened its landed estates team with the appointment of Peter Skelly as a manager in its Bristol office.

Peter, pictured, has nearly 10 years’ experience working with a wide range of clients from large, historic family estates to more recently-acquired landed estates and smaller, family-owned rural businesses.

He will work closely with Jerry Barnes, head of the Bristol office’s private client tax services, handling various client projects and regular financial reporting and tax compliance for land-owning clients.

Mr Barnes said: “Peter’s wealth of experience means that he is able to assist our large landowners and offer a deep understanding of the performance and sustainability of an estate as a whole. His appointment adds further strength to our team and I look forward to working with him.”
