Property advice firm Knight Frank has moved its Bristol commercial property operation into new offices as part of an on-going expansion in the city.

The firm has moved from Prince Street in the city centre to Tyndall House on Whiteladies Road, Clifton, where it has taken a new lease from landlord, Bristol property developer Deeley Freed.

Knight Frank, one of the world’s largest independent global property consultancies, moved into Bristol in 2004 and has grown rapidly to provide a range of services across the South West including office and industrial agency, development, investment, professional, and building surveying.

Over the past few months the office has added property asset management and residential development consultancy services.

The 15-strong Bristol team includes six partners, all of whom have between 10 and 20 years’ experience of the local market.

The office works for many of the region’s leading public sector organisations including North Somerset Council while its investment and valuation team counts landowners and developers PRUPIM, L&G, British Land, Land Securities and all the main clearing banks among its clients. The industrial team has more than 1,200 acres of land in the region on its books, while the office agency team is advising on three of Bristol’s largest development sites – Wapping Wharf, Finzels Reach and Glassfields.

Head of office Steve Oades, pictured, said: “We have been looking for new offices for some time and we knew Tyndall House would be perfect from the start. It’s a high profile building that gives us room to expand and is in a location close to many of our clients.

“Our business continues to grow which is no mean feat in the current climate. This is down to the quality of the advice we provide and the way we look after our clients.”

To launch the new offices the firm invited clients and other property agents to a drinks party at the premises.
