Bristol-based law firm TLT has appointed David Isaacson as a corporate partner in its social housing team.

David, pictured, joins from Bevan Brittan in Birmingham, where he was a partner in its commercial and infrastructure team. He has also worked for Cobbetts and Pinsent Masons.

For the past 10 years he has almost exclusively helped clients in the housing sector, including local authorities, registered providers and arm’s-length management organisations (ALMOs). He has a strong track record advising on a wide range of issues such as local authority housing vehicles, housing stock transfer, joint ventures and group structures.

Over the past half-year TLT’s corporate team has advised on a number of significant deals including the merger of Devon-based wireless networks firm Sub10 Systems with Fastback Networks of California, and the sale of the UK’s number one specialist motorbike insurer Bennetts to SAGA for £26.6m.
